The 2021 Reliable Plant Conference and Exhibition hosts professionals from across a variety of industries that rely on machinery as a part of their essential operations. The conference is meant to explore new ideas and provide actionable insights so that participants take home information and immediately begin making improvements. Attendees range from entry-level plant employees looking to learn to industry specialists with decades who continue to invest in professional development. Just some of the job titles of attendees include Maintenance Planners, Vibration Technicians, Quality Managers, project leaders, and many more.
The three-day event provides participants with the opportunity to network with other professionals, gain exposure to emerging technology, and learn new information about every aspect of asset management. The focus is on finding ways to improve reliability and protect the bottom line.
The pre-conference events will begin at 7:00 am with a continental breakfast. Informational sessions will run from 8:00 am to 11:30 am followed by a break for lunch. Afternoon sessions will resume at 1:00 pm and last until 4:30 pm. Those who are interested can take the ICML Certification test from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm.
The exhibition floor will be free to explore from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm. Meanwhile, various learning sessions will be held throughout the day and the keynote address “Condition Monitoring Mapping in the Time Domain” will be delivered at 1:30 pm – 2:20 by Jim Fitch, CEO of Noria Corporation. Learning sessions will end at 5:20 pm. Attendees can then visit the meet and greet reception, take the Evan Williams Bourbon Tour, Tasting and Dinner, or take the ICML Certification test.
Attendees have the option of eating at the non-denominational prayer breakfast from 6:45 am to 8:00 or the continental breakfast from 7:00 am to 8:00 am. The first keynote address, “What Are We Doing Wrong?” will be given by John Ross, Owner of Maintenance Innovators, beginning at 8:00 am. This will be followed by learning sessions, and lunch before the next keynote at 1:30 pm. This speech will be delivered by Lee Rubin and will cover the topic, “5 Components of Extraordinary Teams.”
Following the second keynote, there will be additional learning sessions before the conference breaks for dinner and the casino night reception.
The last day of the conference will begin at 7:00 am with a continental breakfast. The morning learning sessions will begin at 8:00 am and run till 11:50 am. The conference will wrap up with a closing ceremony from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm and the exhibition space will remain open until noon.

One of the highlights of the conference is the keynote speaking topics that will be delivered by innovative leaders in the industry. On October 19, the first full day of the conference, Jim Fitch, CEO of Noria Corporation will deliver his address entitled “ Condition Monitoring Mapping in Time Domain.”
Jim Fitch has over 20 years of experience teaching courses that cover lubrication, tribology, oil analysis and machinery failures. He is a true expert in the subject of condition monitoring with over 200 publications credited to his name. In addition to his academic work, he has spent countless hours in the trenches. His keynote will look at the variety of sensors and analytic tools, including the human brain, that are used to monitor machines.
John Ross is another well-known name in maintenance and reliability. His keynote, “What Are We Doing Wrong?” will begin at 8:00 am on October 20th. He will talk about the importance of leadership in improving efficiency and continuing to promote progress. Even if operations are running relatively smoothly, there is always room to do better. Ross has distinguished himself as a presenter and writer with several certifications and 30+ years of experience, making him uniquely qualified to speak on these topics.
