“Giving back to the community and fostering meaningful connections is part of our core values.”

Uptime Solutions LLC, a leading provider of condition monitoring solutions within the Industrial IoT marketplace, is proud to announce that they will be a corporate sponsor for the 30th Annual FCMA Golf Tournament: Tee-Off for Tuition. This event is an opportunity for participants to network with other industry professionals, raise money for scholarships and enjoy a beautiful day of golf. First Coast Manufacturers Association (FCMA) is a non-profit organization that works to meets the needs of manufacturers in a variety of ways.

The FCMA tournament is just one way that Uptime is working to be an active and positive force in the community. According to CCO, Marc Levin: “It can be easy to get caught up in the ins and outs of building and running a business. That is why we have made it a priority to give back to the community and foster meaningful connections. Community involvement is part of our core values.”

Four members of the Uptime executive team, including Mike Hume, will be participating in the tournament. Virginia Bush, Director of Marketing, and Marc Levin, Chief Commercial Officer are also association members and volunteers for the FCMA B2B Committee and the Golf Tournament Planning Committee and will be helping out during the event. Overall, the team at Uptime will play a significant role in all aspects of the tournament.

The event brings together professionals from throughout the manufacturing industry and gives them a chance to connect on the golf course, at a safe distance, as the event will be implementing recommended COVID precautions. The winner of the tournament will receive a cash prize or car, which is sure to heat up the competition.

“FCMA does a lot of good work for the industry by advocating for its members and making sure their voices are heard at all levels of government. Special events, like the annual tournament, provide a great way for everyone to come together for a common goal and have a little fun while we are at it,” says Virginia Bush, Uptime Solutions Director of Marketing.

The FCMA Golf tournament will be held on Friday, April 16th, 2021 at the St. Johns Golf and Country Club. Money raised during the event will go to the FCMA UNF Engineering School Scholarship Fund & Advanced Manufacturing Programming. Hopefully, the scholarships will inspire more talented students to pursue their studies and enter a career in engineering and manufacturing.
